Albert River Fishing Bridge

One of Burke Shire’s most popular fishing spot is located at the Historic Old Bridge which crosses the Albert River It is frequently used by tourists and locals and is the ideal fishing area with rod holders and lights for night fishing. Many locals take a picnic down to the bridge to enjoy the tranquil water. 

 

Don't Forget: 

  • Be croc-wise fishing near the Albert River and all other Rivers in the Burke Shire. The fact that you can't see a croc doesn't mean it can't see you. 
  • Leave no rubbish - please take away your rubbish, including old fishing line, drink cans, bait packets and fish.
